Caster Sugar--super fine white sugar. You can make your own by placing regular sugar in a blender.
Corn Flour--Powdered starch of the maize grain, also called corn starch in some countries.
Jam-- a fruit jelly or conserve.
Jelly Crystals-- flavoured gelatin crystals, sometimes known as "Jello".
Vanilla Essence--vanilla extract from the vanilla bean. (this comes in liquid form and I use imitation vanilla flavouring, the real stuff comes in the same sort of packaging and is more expensive, but worth it.)
More coming soon!

Deletehow much grams is one cup please? :)
ReplyDeleteplease please :)) i need to know.. thank you so much! love you blog
ReplyDeleteit depends what's in the cup. for example, brown sugar weighs more than flour. here's a good page that may help. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_grams_are_in_a_cup
ReplyDeleteI tried to click on the link for the conversion tool and it brought me to Gourmet magazine...very misleading to say the least. I didn't have any of the ID's from your drop down menu but my name is Sherri Lancashire and I am on Facebook...enjoy the recipes but I really don't have a clue for conversions...especially the butter...40 G's ?
ReplyDeletehi there, thanks for your feedback. I've removed that link, it used to lead you to a fantastic conversion tool, but it seems its been removed. google provides quick and simple conversions in its place. cheers.
